The Federal Government has launched an "Antenna Installer Endorsement Scheme" which requires installers to become an "Australian Government Approved Antenna Installer" for Domestic, Commercial and Satellite installation.

It is a requirement for every installer to have this credential to be eligible to install Digital Reception Equipment and Cross Install clients from analogue to digital ready reception.

To gain this qualification, ECA in conjunction with Matchmaster is running an online and distance education learning program.              

The course meets the requirements of the Federal Government program to install Digital Reception Equipment and Devices.

Certificate ICTC30508 III in Telecommunications - Digital Reception

•      Restricted Communications Endorsement Modules (ACMA) - Online
•    • Installation of a Cable Lead In - Distance Education Only

•    •Power Tools

•    •Installation of Digital Reception, Terrestrial and Satellite Antenna Equipment
•    •Digital Reception Fault Finding

You can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning for any training you complete. To apply for Recognition of Prior Learning or to enrol in the course you need to complete the enrolment forms below:

•    Certificate II and III in Telecommunications Enrolment Form (RPL Only) if you do not hold an Open Communications qualification: Digital Reception Course

•    Online Training in Open and Restricted Telecommunications
