The service is continually managed by ECA SafetyConnect staff and includes:

The system is covered by the ECA’s continuous improvement system ensuring that your safety system constantly evolves and develops in line with industry and legislative requirements.
ECA SafetyConnect conduct within your business:
- An Initial setup and induction meeting with all staff
- Bi-monthly safety meetings
- Audit and investigation assistance and representation
- Annual audit of your business.
ECA SafetyConnect staff manage and work with you to deliver:
- Bi-monthly tool box meetings
- Staff audits
- ESO audit assistance
Our dedicated team of facilitators will guide you through the customised manual which contains:
- Policies
- Electrical procedures
- Workplace health and safety procedures
- Forms
- Work method statements.
The online database is designed to ensure that you never forget to deliver on any of your obligations under the Electrical Safety Act, such as:
- Staff qualifications and licensing renewals
- Staff training and competence
- Equipment testing.
Our specially negotiated Business Practices Insurance Cover protects as a result of action under any federal, state or local legislation, against:
- Fines

- Employment practices liability.

Safety Self-Assessment
The Electrical Safety Office has developed a safety self-assessment package that will help you to better understand some of your key electrical safety obligations and measure how effectively your knowledge, documentation and work systems help you to meet your legal responsibilities.

Getting Started
To join the SafetyConnect program, please download and complete the following documents:

Step 1. Complete the details required on pages 8, 9,10, 11 & 12.
Step 2. Return the entire contract to ECA at PO Box 2438, Fortitude Valley BC Qld 4006 or via fax on 07 3251 2400.
Step 3. Once we have received your documentation, a SafetyConnect Coordinator will contact you to plan your initiation into the program.
