ECA is committed to providing our members with unique opportunities to get to know others in the industry and build valuable business relationships through our events program.

As an ECA Member you have the opportunity to become actively involved in the industry and creating valuable relationships to benefit your business. Our events include branch meetings and roadshows, conferences, award ceremonies and social events such as golf days.

Being actively involved and attending these functions allows you to create important relationships with a wide variety of Industry Representatives and ECA Staff who can assist you with the smooth operation of your contracting business.

Branch Visitation Program

Branch Meetings

Branch meetings give you  an opportunity to meet with other contractors in your area on a regular basis.

Organised by a local Branch Coordinator, who also run their own electrical contracting business, these meetings keep members informed about issues that are affecting and changing the electrical and communications industry.  

Roadshows

Branch Roadshows are held regularly across Queensland allowing members to hear from industry experts and ECA staff on a range of topics. Members are kept informed about issues affecting the industry and are provided with a forum to discuss state and local issues as well as meeting fellow contractors.

Annual Conference

Each year the ECA Annual Conference provides invaluable information and a network of contacts for all delegates. 

Since 1976 we have held our Conference in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting in a variety of destinations throughout Australia and overseas. 

Some of the exciting destinations we have visited include Uluru, Hawaii, Tasmania, Queenstown and the Barossa Valley. 

The conference covers a wide variety of topics that are useful for your contracting business ranging from technical matters, marketing, new products, and business systems - to industry developments and changes.
