The course in Electrical Energy Efficiency 21876VIC is aimed at electrical workers and electrical engineers  who wish to earn a national qualification in the deployment of electrical efficiency systems that apply to the current “Green Efficiency” programs supported by the federal government.  This is a nationally recognised qualification. Recognition of Prior Learning is available.

Unit Details and Qualifications

The Course in Electrical Energy Efficiency consists of two mandatory units. Participants must successfully complete both units to achieve the award. Participants who only complete one unit from the course will be awarded a Statement of Attainment indicating the unit, which they have successfully completed.

On successful completion of this training course and the evidence gathering you will be issued with the following and a qualification in Electrical Energy Efficiency 21876VIC:

  • VPAU283—Advise on Electrical Energy Management;
  • VPAU284—Implement Energy Efficient Electrical Systems

Course Duration

Online Learning—Flexible Delivery Framework (20 hours in total course duration.)

Entry Requirements

The minimum entry requirements are:

  • those competencies defined by UEE30807 - Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician from the UEE07- Electrotechnology Training Package or equivalent; or; 
  • graduate electrical engineer.
