CERTIFICATE IV IN ELECTRICAL PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS ONLINE COMPONENT UEE42009

Welcome to the online component of the Certificate IV in Electrical Photovoltaic Systems.  To undertake this component of the training you will need a password and login from ECA’s Training Department on 07 32512444.  You are required to have a copy of all relevant Australian Standards prior to commencing this part of the course.  Details of the relevant standards and purchasing arrangements are in this program that follows. You should complete this online component within one month of registering.

Instructions for entering the on line component and workshop registration:

  1. ECA will send you a login id and password to enter the course
  2. The courses location is at:  http://ecaq.gses.com.au/
  3. Click on login and enter your user name and password
  4. You will be directed to the online component of the course
  5. Complete all 10 topic blocks from Solar Radiation up to and including System to Yield and Performance
  6. There are assessments at the end of each topic block.  You will not be able to go onto the next topic block until you have passed the assessments in each block
  7. If you have answered a question incorrectly the system will generate an email to you informing you of incorrect answers and possible correct answers. You will    need to re-do those questions that were incorrect so that you can progress onto the next topic block
  8. When you have completed all 10 topic blocks up to System Yield and Performance contact ECA Training  on 07 3251 2444
  9. When you have notified ECA Training that you have completed the online component, an assessor will mark and verify your competency in the online assessment
  10. If you have successfully completed the on-line component you will be contacted by ECA Training to arrange a booking for the workshop component.
